WINTHROP — A 75-year-old rural Winthrop man died in a grain bin accident Monday afternoon on his farm about seven miles southwest of Gaylord, according to the Sibley County Sheriff’s Office.
Jerry Wannarka’s body was found under corn inside a grain bin when emergency personnel responded to a call about 3:30 p.m. Monday to his farm in Alfsborg Township.
The exact cause of his death is being investigated by Sibley County’s medical examiner’s office.
