St. Peter re-elects Strand as mayor
MANKATO — Tim Strand will remain the mayor of St. Peter after handily defeating his opponent in Tuesday’s election.
Strand pulled in 964 votes versus 499 for David “Eli” Hoehn.
For city council in Ward 1, the top two vote getters were Dan Eichmann with 379 votes and Susan Carlin with 367, and they will claim the ward’s two open seats. Runners up were Douglas Kvidera (180), Jim Johnson (263), Kelsie Peters (250) and Michael Steinhaus (129).
In Ward 2, Jerry Pfeifer won with 244 votes. Runners up were Amy C. Heilman (225) and David B. McGuire (65).
