Gun, tools stolen from residence
MANKATO — The crime — the burglary of a 12-gauge shotgun and some tools — was relatively routine. But the location provided a bit of irony that was anything but.
Michael Hromadko called police and told them that, between 4 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. Wednesday, someone entered his garage — there were no signs of forced entry — and took his $1,100 Benelli shotgun and shells, and tools valued at more than $1,000.
His address: 101 Peaceful Place.
