More than fur a-flyin' during mishap
MANKATO — The fur didn’t fly at Furs A Flyin’ pet grooming, but its co-owner certainly did.
Tina Dickel received bumps and bruises Monday afternoon when a truck came through a wall at the North Riverfront Drive business, knocking a cabinet into her and sending her hurtling across the room.
Mankato police said a truck driven by Allen Dykema, 47, of North Mankato accelerated from its parked spot and struck the rear of the building.
Dykema told police the gas pedal stuck.
