MANKATO — The southbound lanes of Highway 169 from St. Peter to Mankato were closed Saturday afternoon, the Minnesota Department of Transportation reported.
The road was closed because of water flowing and mudslides.
Highway 22 is the suggested alternate route.
MnDOT also reported water going over the road on HIghway 66 between Mankato and Good Thunder. That road has not been closed.
Suspicion arose when loose presciption pills were found on the floor.
