Robbery suspect apprehended

Thursday night incident similar to Wednesday robbery

MANKATO — Police have apprehended a suspect in the robbery of a pizza delivery driver Thursday night.

At about 9:26 p.m. last night, a pizza delivery driver was threatened with a knife when making a delivery on the 900 block of Mulberry Street.

The suspect, a juvenile male, allegedly took the driver's cell phone and an undetermined amount of cash and then left on a bike. The victim followed the suspect, then flagged down a police officer.

A similiar type of robbery occurred Wednesday night.

The suspect was apprehended at Division and Main streets.
