One in critical after four-motorcycle crash

One person is in critical condition following a crash on the intersection of Highways 169 and 14 in Mankato Saturday afternoon involving four motorcycles.

Eight people traveling on four bikes were westbound on Highway 14 at about 1:20 p.m. and on the ramp to head southbound on 169 when all four bikes lost control, the State Patrol said. The patrol said the riders tipped their bikes over to avoid a collision.

A 21-year-old passenger of a motorcycle driven by Johnathan Rose of Arlington is in critical condition at Mayo Clinic Health System in Mankato.

Several other drivers sustained minor injuries but not were hospitalized.
