Old Town business robbed at gunpoint

MANKATO — Police say two men robbed the Luxe Salon, 615 North Riverfront Drive, at gunpoint Tuesday evening.

Witnesses say two men entered the salon, brandished a handgun and demanded money. An employee and a customer were in the salon at the time the robbery occurred.

After the incident the two suspects fled on foot.

The suspects were described as two black males; one was 5-foott-9 with a stocky build and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt at the time of the incident; the other was 6-foot-2 and was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt with "box-style" lettering.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call 911.
