Elmer C. 'Tim' Randall

—   Elmer C. "Tim" Randall, age 80, of Claremont, California and formerly of Lake Crystal, passed away, August 8, 2012.

  Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 23, 2012 at Holy Family Catholic Cemetery, Lake Crystal, MN. A reception will follow at Holy Family Catholic Church.  Lake Crystal Mortuary assisted the family.

  Elmer was born December 13, 1931 at Lakeland, Minnesota to Elmer A. and Elizabeth (Wittrock) Randall.  He graduated from Lake Crystal High School in 1949. Elmer served his country with the U.S. Army in Korea.  He was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion, and the Korean War Veterans Association.  Elmer worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a supervisor, retiring in 1991. He had been a resident of Claremont, California since 1971.

  Elmer is survived by his two daughters, Linda (Fred) Wichelhaus and Julie (John) Fitzpatrick; three sons, Lynn M. (Marilyn) Putrah, Timothy (Tamara) Randall, and Tom Randall; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Vera (Val) Wigley of Lake Crystal, and Carol (George) Hertel of Yucca Valley, CA; and extended family.

  Elmer was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Corrine in 2002; daughter-in-law, Cindy Randall; sister, Gerry.

  A Memorial Service was held at Todd Memorial Chapel, Claremont, CA at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 19, 2012.
