KASOTA — Paul V. “Chico” Heilman, 70, of Kasota, MN, died Thursday, March 11th, 2010, at his home surrounded by family.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, March 15, 2010, at the First Presbyterian Church of Kasota with Pastor Chris Conlin officiating. Burial will be at Kasota Hill Cemetery in Kasota. Visitation will be held from 2:00-5:00 p.m. on Sunday at the St. Peter Funeral Home, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. St. Peter Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Paul was born on November 6th, 1939, to Edgar and Alice (Bosacker) Heilman. He married Jeanette Maas on December 8th, 1961, at the First Lutheran Church in St. Peter. He worked in construction all of his life for several different companies. He was also a member of the Local 49ers Union. Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, playing cribbage, and being with his family; his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his wife: Jeanette; three daughters: Lisa (Doug) Vickstrom of Le Sueur, MN, Coralie (Mark) Petersen of Bethel, MN, Kristal Heilman of Kasota; five grandchildren: Scott (Caden), Shannon, Norene, Stephen, Morgan; two great-grandchildren: Asher and Aleah; one sister: Joyce Ziemke of Waseca; and numerous other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers, and one sister.
