Elsie Waterbury, age 83, passed away March 11, 2010, at Mapleton Community Home in Mapleton, MN.
Elsie was born on December 6, 1926, in Hawarden, IA. Daughter of John and Grace (Schotanus) Bos. Married Vernon Waterbury and later divorced. She loved to play the piano, sing, sew and garden.
Memorial services, 2 p.m. on Saturday March 20, 2010, at Reformed Church, Dell Rapids, SD.
Elsie is survived by her children, Carol Beitelspacher, Marlene Sowl (Jim) in SD, Lee Waterbury (Judy), Julie Williams, in FL, Ken Waterbury (Marvis) Mankato, MN, Carolyn Ward (Jack) Amboy, MN, Mark Waterbury Blaine, MN, Richard Waterbury (Kris) Sheboygan, WI; 22 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great-grandchild; 5 brothers; 1 sister; and many nieces and nephews.
Elsie was preceded in death by her ex–husband Vernon Waterbury; parents John and Grace Bos; brothers Ralph, Wilbur and Charlie; and her sister Margaret (Bos) Warns; uncle John Schotanus; 1 grandson Donald Beitelspacher; sister-in-law Cynthia Bos; and nephew Jim Van Liere.
