— Glenn A. Bateman, 93, of North Mankato, died Thursday, March 18, 2010, at his home. Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Monday, March 22, 2010, at Woodland Hills Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be one hour before services in the chapel. Memorials are preferred to donor’s choice.

Glenn was born July 6, 1916, in Redwood Falls, MN, to Sheldon H. and Lulu V. (McCardle) Bateman. He married Myrtle Hamer, June 25, 1938. Glenn worked with Marigold Dairy for 19 years and Standard Oil Company for many years. Glenn was also a veteran of W.W. II, an active member of the Shriners and a faithful member of the Beauford United Methodist Church.

Glenn is survived by his wife, two daughters, 9 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild, and one brother, William Bateman of Mankato. He was preceded in death by one sister and five brothers.
