   Gordon Benson, age 80, of Kiester, MN, died Tuesday, January 15, 2013, at his home.  Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 19, 2013, at 11:00 AM at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Kiester, MN. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 18, 2013, from 3-7 PM at Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Pastor Katie Pals will officiate and interment will be in Zion Cemetery. Please see www.brussheitner.com to leave online condolences. Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Wells, MN, is in charge of arrangements.

  Gordon is survived by his wife Lois of Kiester; children, Bruce Benson of Jordan, Joyce (Bruce) Frederick of Wells, Diane (Tom) Herrmann of Waconia, and Steve (Nancy) Benson of Owatonna; 12 grandchildren; sister Elsie (Carl) Hacker of Emmons; brother Eldon Benson of Waseca; sisters-in-law, Margaret Darula of Fresno, CA, Jeanie (Chuck) McBride of White Bear Lake and Jeanette Schimelpfenig of Sioux Falls, SD; brother-in-law, Gerald (Genelle) Schimelpfenig of Norwood; special cousin Arlene (Ray) Levine of Albert Lea; and several nieces and nephews along with their families and many friends.
