   Robert F White, age 89, of Le Sueur, passed away quietly in his sleep at his home on Sunday, January 20.

 Visitation will be Wednesday January 23 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at the Le Center Funeral Home and one hour before the Funeral Mass at St Mary's Church Le Center.

 The Funeral Mass is at 10:00 a.m. at St Mary's Catholic Church, Le Center.

 Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center. KC service at 7 p.m.

 Robert (Bob) was born on November 19, 1923, in Cleveland Township to Frank Samuel Jr. and Mary Antonia (Traxler) White.  He attended Country School and St Mary's School.

 He was a farmer until 1977.   From 1969 to1989 he worked as a custodian with the Le Center Public Schools.  For the next 20 years, he volunteered as a driver for LeSueur County Human Services and Aging Services.  In 1998 he was presented  with a Distinguished Service Award for his driving.

 As a young man, he was a member of the Dominic Club, where he met his wife, Mary Jo (Hottinger) White.  They were married August 12, 1961, at SS Peter and Paul's Catholic Church in Mankato.  They liked to travel and were members of the St Peter Riverbend Promenaders Square Dance Club.  There were annual family camping trips to points west, and a memorable camping trip in to Alaska in 2000 with Square Dance friends.

 Bob followed the Twins and Vikings on TV and he liked gardening.  He especially enjoyed attending events and reunions of his family and relatives.

 He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo, of Le Sueur, two daughters, Mary (Ken) Preuhs, Le Sueur and Julie (Tom) Deutsch, Le Center, two grandchildren Mia and Devin Preuhs, and nieces and

nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters Dorothy LaVanier and Mary Rausch and his brother Richard.
