James "Jim" Murry, age 80, of Delavan, MN, died Friday, January 25, 2013 at his home in rural Delavan, MN, surrounded by his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, January 28, 2013, at 10:30 AM at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth, MN. Visitation will be held Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, at St. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Blue Earth from 2:00 - 5:00 PM and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Father Leo Koppala will officiate and interment will be in Calvary Cemetery-rural Delavan, MN. Memorials Preferred to United Hands Hospice or Father Leo's Orphanage.

Jim is survived by his wife, Mary of Delavan, MN; 4 children: Jeanette (Mike) Verdoorn of Blue Earth, MN, Barb (David) Austinson, Ken (Karin) Murry and Brian (Janelle) Murry, all of Kasson, MN; 11 grandchildren: 4 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Bill (Maryce) Murry, niece, Judy Hauer, and daughter, Cathy.
