Jerome "Jerry" Weber

— Jerome "Jerry" Weber, 81, of Nicollet died Saturday, November 24, at the Benedictine Health Center in St. Peter.  Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 a.m. Friday, November 30, 2012 at the St. Paul's Catholic Church in Nicollet with Father Phil Schotzko celebrating the Mass and Deacon Steve Spilman assisting.  Burial will follow in the St. Nicholas Catholic Cemetery, Middle Lake, Traverse Township, Nicollet County.  Visitation will be 4 - 7 p.m. Thursday at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home, Nicollet Chapel, and will continue on Friday for one hour prior to the time of service at the church. There will be a parish prayer service at 6:30 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.  To sign the guest book or to send a condolence to the family go to www.mvfh.org.

  Jerry is survived by his sister-in-law, Annabel Weber of Nicollet; nieces, Susan (Gary) Bruns of Bemidji, Lois Weber of Mankato, Karen (LeRoy) Giesler of St. Peter, and nephews, Tom Langhoff (Sandy) of Winthrop, Bobby Weber (Jean) of Owatonna, Tony Weber, Karl Weber (Melody), and Gary Weber all of Nicollet.  He is also survived by several great nieces and nephews and great

great Nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister and brother-in-law, Elaine and Ted Langhoff and by a brother, Robert.

  Jerome Anthony Weber was born February 24, 1931, in New Ulm to Anton and Ella (Tammany) Weber.  He attended District #30 country school in Granby Township.  He then farmed the family farm in Granby Township until 2005.  He continued living on the farm until January 2012 when he moved to Pheasants Ridge in St. Peter.  Jerry was a member of the St. Paul's Catholic Church in Nicollet, a member of the COF, and a past board member of the Nicollet Farmers Exchange.  www.mvfh.org
