  Marian G. Sexton, age 86, of Janesville, died Wednesday, December 12, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester from complications of cancer.

 Mass of Christian Burial will be held Monday, December 17th at 10:00 A.M. at St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville with Fr. Peter Klein, Celebrant. Interment will be in the St. Ann Cemetery.

  Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 5 P.M. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Janesville, and will continue on Monday morning for one hour prior to services, at church. There will be a 5:00 P.M. Parish Rosary Sunday afternoon at the funeral home.

  Marian Gertrude was born March 6, 1926, in Mankato, Minnesota, to Henry and Frances (Schwarble) Dauk. She was united in marriage to Harold Sexton on February 11, 1946, at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake. Marian and Harold raised their family and farmed in Janesville Township, Waseca County. Following her husband's death in 1997, Marian continued to reside on the family farm. She was an active, faithful member of St. Ann Catholic Church in Janesville. She will be dearly missed.

  Marian is survived by her children, Martin Sexton, Steven (Bonnie) Sexton, Larry (Helen) Sexton, all of Janesville, Jane (Rick) Greenwood of Avon, IN, Sandy (Dennis) Mielke of Reeds Lake near Elysian; daughter-in-law, Marie Sexton of Medford; 20 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren; brother, Charles (Rose) Dauk, and sister, Charlotte Frederick, all of Madison Lake; sisters-in-law, Ann Dauk of Cleveland, Edith Dauk of Mankato, and Mary (Gene) Miller of Waseca; many nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold in 1997; son, Jerome Sexton; grandson, Matthew Sexton; siblilngs, Jerome Dauk, Leo Dauk, and Dorothy (Alan) Burg; sister-in-law, Lucille Dauk; brother-in-law, Harland Frederick.
