— Monica Holicky, 56 of Le Center, died at her home on Thursday, March 18, 2010.

Visitation will be held at Le Center Funeral Home on Sunday, March 21 from 3:00–8:00 p.m., with CCW rosary at 4:00. Funeral Services will be at St. Mary’s Catholic Church on Monday, March 22 at 10:00 a.m. Burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Le Center.

Memorials preferred to Dollars for Scholars and St. Mary’s Parish Center.

Monica was born in Mankato, MN on April 11, 1953, to William and Marian (Sterner) Meyer. She graduated from Cleveland High School. She was united in marriage to Eugene Holicky at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Le Center on August 2, 1980. Their marriage was blessed with four daughters and Monica was “second mom” to many, many children as a day care facilitator for 28 years. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, reading, and flower gardening.

She is survived by her husband, Eugene; mother, Marian Meyer of Madison Lake; four daughters, Jennifer & Brady Adams of Janesville, Rebecca & Jamie Churchill of Austin, MN, and Jolene Holicky & Jeremy Zell of Janesville, and Samantha Holicky & Brady James of Elysian; three grandchildren, Patrick, Charles and Anne Adams; three sisters, Rose Krenik, Teresa Baker, Joann Jaqua; and four brothers Pat, Joe, George and Mark Meyer.

Monica is preceded in death by her father, William Meyer ;and father & mother-in-law, Francis & Mary Evelyn Holicky.
