Laura Lou Beltt, 76 of Mankato, died Friday, June 29, 2012 due to complications from an illness.

  Laura was born October 27, 1935 in Mineville, NY. Moved and resided in the Albany, NY area where she graduated from Watervliet High School and was employed with the state of New York for 25 years before moving to Minnesota which is where she resided for over 35 years.

 Laura was employed at Mankato State University for several years before changing careers to work in the home health and child care profession. Laura lived in Mankato for over 20 years enjoying the company of her many friends.

  Laura is preceded in death by her mother Zena (Carter) Genier; her father Frank Genier; brother, Robert Genier and sister, Joyce Remilard.

 Laura is survived by her sister, Marion Kedmenec of Witherbee, NY and her brother Frank James Genier, many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Woodland Hills Funeral Home with visitation 1 hour before, Tuesday July 3, 2012.
