Jimmy R. Gay

—   Jimmy R Gay, age 63 of Mankato died Saturday, October 20th, 2012  at Hillcrest Health Care Center.

  Jimmy was born to Simp and Ruth Gay on May 22nd, 1949 in Colquitt County, Ga.  As a teenager Jimmy came to Minnesota. He married and had three daughters with his former wife. Jimmy worked over 30 years at Hubbard Milling and Big Gain mills in Mankato. He  enjoyed hunting, football, baseball and socializing. He was especially happy spending time with his great grandson Jay.

  Jimmy is survived by his 3 daughters and 1 son in law. Michelle Cosgrove, Dundas, MN. Heidi and David Falk, New Ulm, MN. and Jodi Gay of Adams MN. Four granddaughters, Lyndsey, Kelsey, Ruby and Audrey, one great grandson Jay, and four siblings, Lamar, Gene, Patsy and Vicki.

  Jimmy was preceded in death by his parents. His brothers, Howard, Franklin and Jim (Boots), and his sister, Loreen.

  Friends are invited to drop by the American Legion Post 11, in Mankato on Tue. Oct. 23 from 4-6 pm for remembrances.
