Lucille "Lucy" Lang

—  Lucille "Lucy" Lang, 83, of New Ulm died Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Oak Hills Living Center in New Ulm.  Funeral service will be 2 pm Monday, February 18 at the Minnesota Valley Funeral Home SOUTH CHAPEL in New Ulm with Monsignor John A. Richter officiating.  Burial will follow in the St. George Catholic Cemetery.  Visitation will be 2-4 pm Sunday and 7:30am-2pm Monday at the funeral home.  To sign the guest book or to leave an online condolence for her family go to www.mvfh.org.

  Lucille is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Cathy and Doug Jutz, Karen and Cal Lindmeier, all of New Ulm; sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Lynn Lang, John and Linda Lang, all of New Ulm, Jeff and Roxi Lang of Mankato; eight grandchildren; sisters and brothers-in-law, Marilou and Vic Hofmeister, Dottie and Al Beckwith, Bonnie Friedrichs, all of Mankato; step-sister and brother-in-law, Rosemary and Marvin Mock of Mankato; brother and sister-in-law, Ted and Rita Wolfe of Mankato; step-brother and sister-in-law, Tony and Liz Baynes of St. Paul; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law, Lauretta Sporer of Mankato, Agnes and Art Meier of New Ulm, and Viola Lang of Winthrop.  She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; sisters-in-law; brothers-in-law; and a niece.

  Lucille Frances Wolfe was born October 23, 1929, in Mankato to Theodore, Sr. and Clara (Hiniker) Wolfe.  She attended St. Peter and Pauls High School in Mankato.  On June 10, 1952, Lucille was united in marriage to Walter Lang in Mankato.  Lucille was a devoted and caring wife and mother.  She loved dogs, babies, gardening, flowers, birds, bingo, card games (especially 500, Buck, and Rummy), and above all, her family.  She had a smile that would melt your heart and was a hardworking, kind hearted, honest, generous, empathetic, and loving person.  Lucille was a member of the Cathedral of the Holy Trinity in New Ulm.  Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.  www.mvfh.org.
