Edward 'Ward' Blaschko

  Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Cold Spring, MN, for Edward "Ward" Blaschko, age 47, who died Saturday at the St. Cloud Hospital surrounded by family.  Burial will be in the St. Boniface Parish Cemetery.

  Relatives and friends may call from 4:00 - 9:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 27th at the Wenner Funeral Home in Richmond.  Parish Prayers will be at 4:00 p.m.  Visitation will continue from 9:00 - 10:15 a.m., Wednesday morning at the funeral home.

   Ward was born on May 14, 1965, in Le Center to Jerry and Beverly (Strand) Blaschko.  He married Gail Eikmeier, the love of his life on November 6, 2004, in Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Rockville.  Ward was a graduate of Le Center High and St. John's University.  He was the owner of EMR/Process Pro Software.  He enjoyed music and playing the piano.  Ward loved sports, particularly hockey, golf, and driving the ranger/four wheelers with his kids on his property.   He traveled frequently for work; his favorite part of his travels was to come home to his wife and children.

   Survivors include his loving wife, Gail; children, Katelynn, Bradey, Isaac, and Tyanna; parents, Jerry and Beverly Blaschko of Burnsville; siblings, Cindy (Greg) Hromatka of Chanhassen, Diane Blaschko of Chaska, Tamara Blaschko of Minneapolis, Ronan Blaschko (Dana Bjorkman) of Lake Elmo, and Brad Blaschko (Pauline) of Plymouth; father and mother in law, Ron and Mary Eikmeier of St. Cloud; brothers and sisters in law, Scott and Stephanie Eikmeier of St. Michael, Rick and Tracey Eikmeier of St. Cloud, and Angela Eikmeier of St. Cloud; 13 nieces and nephews.  

  He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Raymond and Pearl Strand and Edward and Evelyn Blaschko.
