Vance Halvorson

— Vance Halvorson, age 71, of Mankato, MN, died Sunday, November 25, 2012, at Autumn Grace Assisted Living in Mankato, MN.  Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 28, 2012, at 3:00 PM at Zion Lutheran Church in Rake, Iowa. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church on Wednesday. Pastor Terry Mahnke will officiate and interment will be in the West Cemetery in Rake, Iowa.   Vance is survived by his mother Lillian Halvorson of Rake, IA; sister Susan (Clyde) Bade of Andover, MN; brother Thomas (Henrietta) Halvorson of Forest City, IA; niece Tami Halvorson of Forest City, IA; nephews, Chad (Heather) Bade of River Falls, WI, and Nic (Emily) Bade of E. St. Paul, MN; great-nieces, Abby, Ally, and Hailey Bade of River Falls, WI.

  He was preceded in death by his father Arden Halvorson and infant nephew Thomas Halvorson, Jr.
