Mary Catherine More

— Mary Catherine More, age 71 of Le Sueur, died Wednesday, December 5, 2012, at her home.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Anne's Catholic Church in Le Sueur on Saturday, December 8 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will be on Friday, December 7 at the Kolden Funeral Home in Le Sueur from 4-8 p.m. with a C.C.W. Rosary beginning at 3:45 p.m., visitation will continue on Saturday morning at the funeral home from 8-10:45 a.m.  Interment will be in St. Anne's Catholic Cemetery in Le Sueur at a later date.

  Mary was born on February 17, 1941, to Ethelbert "Jim" and Genevieve (Konz) Schleif in Comfrey, Mn.  She attended Mankato State College for two years after highschool.  She married Charles W. More on November 23, 1963, in Le Sueur.  She was active in the Jaycees in her younger years.  She worked for the City of Le Sueur for many years.  

  She spent many hours working on genealogy.  She enjoyed doing arts and crafts, knitting, sewing and playing the piano.  She especially enjoyed being surrounded by her friends, family and grandchildren.  Her best friends were her seven sisters and one brother.  

   She is survived by her husband, Charles W. More; children, Kristen L. (Jeff) Rykhus of Mankato, David C. (Margaret) More of Le Sueur and William J. More of Minneapolis; grandchildren, Ethan and Ambria Rykhus, Justin, Mary and Julia More; siblings, Genevieve Cords of Le Sueur, Violet (Deward) Savage of Le Sueur, Charlotte Rueschenberg of Birmingham, AL, Theresa Corey of Plymouth, Dorothy Nicolas of Stockton, CA, Charles (Bonnie) Schleif of Comfrey, Rosalyn (Richard) Kratz of Decorah, IA and Gwen Schleif of Hutchinson.

  She was preceded in death by her parents.
