Bruce Charles Johnson, age 61, of Boyd, Wisconsin, passed away unexpectedly January 23, 2012. He was born on November 24, 1950, to Arlene & Paul Johnson in Mankato, MN.
Bruce will be dearly missed by his surviving and loving mother Arlene Johnson; daughters: Tomi (Johnson) Jacobson and Brook (Johnson) Schorman; grandchildren: Tomi's daughter, Abigail, and Brook's son, Chance; sister Linda Young; and brother Scott Johnson.
Bruce was preceded in death by his father Paul Johnson.
Bruce was exceptionally creative, a world-class handy man and a mechanical expert with a passion for perfection. His love for woodworking would lead him to spend days in his shop. His unique pieces of woodworking are enjoyed by many in their homes; from backscratchers made from tree branches in his own back yards to elegant armoires. All were developed with love and shared as gifts.
Bruce lived in a beautiful area surrounded by nature and his two four-legged friends Mindy and Buster who never left his side. He was great company and his sense of humor and kind hearted personality delighted those who crossed his path. He will be profoundly missed.
A celebration of life will be held at his gardens grow at 2:00 p.m., on Saturday, June 9, 2012, at E25245 Tower Road, Boyd, WI, 54726.
