North Mankato resident, Delbert M. Masters, age 67, died July 23, 2012 at Monarch Meadows in North Mankato. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012 at Garden Court Apartments in Winnebago, MN with Pastor Vance Millbrandt, officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the donor's choice. Family will greet relatives and friends 1 hour before the service.
Delbert was born February 27, 1945 in Garden City, MN to George and Helen (Allen) Masters. He grew up and attended school in Vernon Center, Winnebago and Owatonna. In 1977 he married Juanita Moore in Winnebago. The couple later divorced. Delbert worked at many places during his life. He enjoyed fishing, bingo, playing cards and going to farmers markets.
He is survived by daughter, Amber Masters of Nebraska; brothers, Raymond Masters of Winnebago, Harold (Becky) Masters of Winnebago, Darold Masters of Winnebago, Donald (Lori) Masters of Emmons; sisters, Betty (Norman) Glaubitz of Mankato, Dorothy Olson of Winnebago, Anna (Arthur) Sankey of Blue Earth, Susan (Les) Bruns of Alexandria; sister-in-law, Louetta Masters; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Roger; sister-in-law, Dolores Masters; brother-in-law; Dulane Olson.
Delbert's family wishes to thank everyone who, in any way, made his life more enjoyable in his later years.
