Ruby E. Hove

— Ruby E. Hove, age 82, of Mankato died Friday, November 16, 2012, at Evergreen Terrace in Grand Rapids, MN.

  Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 20, 2012, at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Mankato with Rev. Jay Dahlvang, officiating.  Visitation will be one hour before service at church on Tuesday.  Burial will be in Woodland Hills Memorial Park, Mankato.  Mankato Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.  Memorials are preferred to the Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato Heart Center.

  Ruby was born April 6, 1930 to Albert and Elsie (Ahrens) Ehrich in rural Blue Earth, MN.  She graduated from Elmore High School in 1948.  Ruby was united in marriage to Luther "Lou" J. Hove on December 4, 1949, at St. John's Lutheran Church, rural Elmore.  She worked at Hubbard Milling and the Boy Scouts of America for many years before retiring in 1994.  Ruby enjoyed spending time with her husband Lou and her family.  She also enjoyed antiquing, working in her flower gardens, and long walks in the woods.

  Ruby is survived by four children, Jeff Hove, Gregg (Michele) Hove, Brad (Cameo) Hove, Linda Sharma; ten grandchildren, Jeremy (Melissa) Hove, Bradly (Rachel) Hove, Erik (Alexis), Dan and Liezel Hove, Bobbi (Steven) Munson, Forest Hove, Ryan, Curtis, and Stephanie Sharma; eight great-grandchildren, Hunter, Chance, Jayden, Miya, Jackson, Finley, Harlow, and Audrey; sister, Ginny (John) Kramer; brother, Wilfred Ehrich; many nieces, nephews, and friends.   She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lou, and two sisters, Viola and Jan.
