Beverly J. (Johnson) Hultengren - Hoehn, 76, Mankato, died surrounded by her family Friday, November 23, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System Mankato. Memorial service will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday November 26, 2012 at Woodland Hill Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Private family interment will be held at Woodland Hills Memorial Park. Memorials are preferred to the Harry Meyering Center, American Cancer Society, or the American Heart Association.
Beverly was born January 2, 1936 to Floyd and Fern (Laird) Johnson in Mankato. She graduated from Mankato High in 1953 and went on to attend both the Mankato Beauty School and Massage School. Beverly was united in marriage to Joseph Hoehn July 30, 1999 in Mankato. She worked as a Cub Scout Den Mother, a Home Health Aide, a Hair Stylist, and owned Lake Shore Beauty and Massage. In her free time she enjoyed fishing, playing board games with her family and friends, sewing, and was a card shark. Church was important to Beverly; she was a past church organist and a former member of the Eagle Lake Church of Christ. She was also a member of the Eagle Lake Auxiliary.
She is survived by husband, Joseph of Mankato; children, Steven R. (Anita) of Mankato, Terry R. of Mankato, Dan (Marcella) of Indiana, Cheryl (Roy) of North Dakota, Chris (Connie) of Oklahoma, and Wendy (Dave) of Mankato; step children, Dennis (Linda) of Mankato, Danny of Waterville, Pamela of Florida, Scott of Pine City, and Theresa of California; a lot of grandchildren, step grandchildren, great grandchildren, and step great grandchildren; brother, Floyd Tom (Bettye) of Remer; sister in-law, Marlyss (late husband Jack) of St. Clair; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Beverly is preceded in death by her parents, brother, Jack, and great grandson, Buddy.
