  Blanche passed away peacefully on Monday, June 18th at Lake Ridge Care Center in Buffalo, MN.

  Blanche Ruth Baumgard (Cooper) was born July 25th, 1926 in Worthington, MN the daughter of Earl and Elsie (Friesner) Cooper.  She graduated from Worthington High School in 1945 and worked as a telephone operator for 37 years.  Blanche was united in marriage to Arnold "Bud" Baumgard on October 15th, 1952 in Fulda, MN and they made their home in Worthington.  They were blessed with the birth of a son, Patrick. In 1994, she moved to Mankato MN then later to Buffalo MN.

  She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law-Patrick and Jodi (Vlasak) Baumgard, grandchildren-Andrew and Anna, sister-in-law Lucille Taylor, many cousins, nieces and nephews.  Memorial services on Thursday, June 21st at Benson Funeral Home in Worthington MN.  A gathering of family and friends will be held one hour prior to the 11am service.
