Jean Marian Jewison

— Jean Marian Jewison, age 87, of Waseca died on January 5, 2013, at her home in Waseca.

  Born on November 23, 1925, in Waseca, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Harold and Seba (Ketchum) Breen.  She graduated from Waseca Central High School in 1943.  Jean married Francis Robert Bob Jewison on February 13, 1944, in Waseca.  She was a devoted wife and mother.  Jean worked as a Fashion Buyer and she and her husband also owned and operated Chalet Liquor in Waseca.  She enjoyed reading, puzzles, and spending time with her children and grandchildren.  Jean was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and the Catholic Daughters.  She was also an election judge and volunteered with Telecare and Meals on Wheels.

  She is survived by two daughters, Judie Jewison-Quaid of Eden Prairie and Pam (James) Manwaring of Macedonia, OH.  She is also survived by one grandson, James (Angela) Johnston and one great granddaughter, Jamie Johnston.  She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers- Bud, Hugo, and Don.

  Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, January 11, 2013, at Kinder-Dennis Home for Funerals in Waseca with Rev. Marty Schaefer officiating.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Waseca.  Visitation will be held on Friday, one hour before services at the funeral home.
