Lorraine (Schlafle) Seltenreich

—  Lorraine (Schlafle) Seltenreich, age 89, of Mankato, died Thursday, January 10, 2013, at Autumn Grace in Mankato.  

  Funeral service will be held at 11 A.M., Monday, January 14, 2013, at the Mankato Mortuary, with Rev. Jeff Peterson officiating.   A visitation will begin at 10 A.M. until the time of the service.  Burial will be in Eagle Lake Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Eagle Lake Church of Christ.

  Lorraine Matilda was born May 19, 1923, to John and Bertha (Worm) Schlafle in Eagle Lake, MN.  Lorraine was united in marriage to Reuben Seltenreich on February 20, 1949, in Mankato.  She worked for Continental Can for 33 years.  Lorraine and Reuben spent their spare time enjoying the outdoors whenever possible until Reuben's death in 1984.  She truly enjoyed fishing, sewing, and hunting.  Lorraine had a special love of flowers and her puppies.  

  Lorraine is survived by 5 nieces and nephews, Wayne Denn, Marie (Les) Rosenau, George Denn, Jane (Tim) Conroy, Gerald Denn; 12 great-nieces and great-nephews; and her brother-in-law, Albert Denn.

  Lorraine was preceded in death by her parents; beloved husband, Reuben; brother, George; and sister, Vernice Denn.
