William "Bill" Reynolds

— William "Bill" Reynolds, age 73, of Naples, FL, and previously of Minneapolis, passed away November 3.

  Bill is survived by his wife of 36 years, Susan Spahr Reynolds; cat, Chloe; brother and wife, Michael and Jan Reynolds; sister and husband, Mary and Karl Johnson; sister-in-law, Lois Reynolds; aunt, Joann Blewett; and many nieces and nephews.  

  Preceded in death by his parents, Carrie and Jim (J.W.) Reynolds of Mankato.  Jim and his three sons were in the industrial gas and welding supply business in MN and SD.  Bill was VP of Reynolds Welding Supply in MN and SD; Welders Supply in Willmar, St. Cloud, and Worthington; and Twin City Oxygen in the Twin Cities area.  

  He served as Zone VP of the National Welding Supply Assn. and was also active in the American Welding supply Assn.  Bill loved his wife and friends and being with them.  There were many wonderful trips taken together.  He was a member of the Minneapolis Golf Club for over 38 years and loved the game; Bill had four holes-in-one.  His favorite sport was college basketball; he was an active member of the Golden Dunkers.  The three brothers sold their company October 25, 2005, the day Hurricane Wilma struck Naples.  That was very memorable!  He also got a traffic warning ticket that day.  

  Bill and Sue have lived in Naples for the last thirteen years, returning to Minneapolis in the summers to spend time with their wonderful friends.  Memorials preferred to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whipperwill Lane, Naples, FL, 34105 or Evans Scholars, Evanston, IL.  

  Private interment.  Memorial Service 3 PM, Saturday, November 10, with visitation one hour before service at:  www.Washburn-McReavy.com
