— Douglas Milton Olson, 65, of Le Sueur, died on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Gardenview Nursing Home in Le Sueur. Funeral Service will be at 11a.m. on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church in Le Sueur. Rev. David Shilling will officiate the service. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church. Interment will be in the Lutheran Cemetery in New Ulm.

Doug was born in New Ulm on December 10, 1944, to Milton and Ruth (Lindemann) Olson. He was baptized on December 31 1944. On May 10, 1956, he was confirmed at Grace Ev. Lutheran Church in Le Sueur. Doug graduated from Le Sueur High School and Mankato Vo-Tech. He worked for Control Data in Minneapolis for many years and also for Jordan Transformer in Jordan. He lived in Le Sueur all of his life where he enjoyed model trains and airplanes, Ham radio, fishing, hunting and golf. Doug also loved fireworks and riding his horse. He is preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by his sister Carolyn (Bill) Mediger of Le Sueur, Niece, Beth (Tim) Quist of Apple Valley, Nephews, Tom (Aimee) Mediger of Apple Valley, Jason (Jody) Mediger of St. Peter, Grandnieces and Grandnephews, Cayla and Mallory Quist, Ethan and Emily Mediger, and Ben and Tanner Mediger.
