Marjorie (Marj) Helen Pitmon

—   Marjorie (Marj) Helen Pitmon, age 83, died on July 30, 2012 at River's Edge Hospital in St. Peter. Marj was born in St. Peter on April 12, 1929.  She was the only child of Helen and Elmer Menk. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerome (Jerry) Pitmon; daughters, Nancy (John) Gunderson, Polly Shelley, Peggy (Douglas) Olmanson; son, Kim Pitmon; seven grandchildren, Megan (Juan) Paredes, Katie Olmanson, Rachel (James) MacLachlan, Lindsey (Matthew) Hahn, Sarah (Jarrod) Pyper, Nick Olmanson, and Mike Pitmon; two great-grandchildren, Vianny Paredes and Olive Pyper.  In addition to raising her children, Marj was an employee of the St. Peter School District for twenty-one years.  The family greatly appreciates the exceptional care provided by the River's Edge Hospital.  Visitation is at 9:30 AM and services at 11:00 AM at St. Peter's Evangelical Lutheran Church on Friday, August 3rd.  Family prefers memorials in lieu of flowers.
