Neil L. Jones

—   Neil L. Jones, age 53, of rural Madelia, died Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at his home.

  Memorial Service 10:30 a.m., Monday, July 16, 2012 at the First Presbyterian Church, Lake Crystal.  Visitation will be one hour before service at church.  Burial in Jerusalem Cemetery. Lake Crystal Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.

  Neil was born May 26, 1959 to Lyle L. and Doris M. (Roberts) Jones in Mankato.  He graduated from Madelia High School in 1977 and Mankato State University with a B.S. degree in Computer Science.  He married Mary Raddatz and they later divorced.  Neil was employed by Fairmont Tamper, McLeod USA in Cedar Rapids, IA, Keane Inc., Udenberg and Assoc., and IBM all in Rochester.  Neil enjoyed boating, fishing, NASCAR, time at the farm, and computers.

  Neil is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Jones of Madelia; parents, Lyle and Doris Jones of Madelia; two brothers, Grant (Debra) Jones of Deadwood, SD, Burt Jones of St. Martins; step-children, Braeden Gisselberg, US Air Force stationed in Florida, Colton and Ryan Gisselberg of Rochester, Allissa Beck of Belle Plaine, IA; three step-grandchildren, Courtney, Ian, and Max; aunts, uncles, and extended family.

  Neil was preceded in death by his grandparents.
