Shenandoah M. Ditterline

—   Shenandoah  M. Ditterline, age 46, of Alma City, died Sunday, October 7, 2012, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Mankato.

  Funeral services will be held on Thursday, October 11th, at 6:00 P.M. at Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Janesville, with Rev. Dr. Larry Griffin, officiating.

  Visitation will be held on Thursday from 4:30 P.M. until the hour of service, at the funeral home.

  Shenandoah Mills was born on January 27, 1966 to Evelyn Josephine Wright in Carmel, California. For a short time he worked in the oil fields in Texas before moving to Minnesota. On July 4, 1992, he met the love of his life, Phyllis E. Roeker in Mankato, Minnesota. Over the years Shenandoah worked part-time for Les Rosenau Siding in Waseca. He was always there to lend a helping hand to his friends. Shenandoah enjoyed traveling to South Dakota with Phyllis, and fishing.  

  He is survived by his special friend, Phyllis Roeker of Alma City; by his three brothers, Willis Ditterline and Oscar Fay, both of Wyoming and George Fay, of Texas; by his sister, Becky Ditterline, of Texas; by many other relatives and friends.    

  He was preceded in death by his mother; by his sister, Crystal Amber Wright; and by his brother, Timothy Ditterline.
