Joyce E. Bowers

—   Joyce E. Bowers, age 81 of Mankato, formerly of Bottineau, North Dakota, died Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Sunrise Cottage of Mankato.

  Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 27th at 10:00 AM at First Lutheran Church in Bottineau, North Dakota.  Interment will be in the Oak Creek Cemetery, Bottineau, North Dakota.  

  Visitation will be held on Wednesday from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM at Nero Funeral Home in Bottineau.  Arnoldt-McRaith Funeral Home & Crematory in Janesville is assisting the family locally with funeral arrangements.

  Joyce is survived by her children, Marshall (Lois) Bowers of Hutchinson, Jim (Faith) Bowers of Janesville, Vicky Bowers of Casper, WY, Gayln (Lorena) Bowers of Hidden Valley Lake, CA, and Linda (Tim) Vigil of Hutchinson; by 11 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; by her sister, Alpha Stanke of Janesville.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter in 2006, and her son David in 1973; by her 9 siblings.
