Roxie Roemhildt

—   Roxie Roemhildt, 59, of Le Center, went to her new home Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at her home. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 29, 2012 from 4:00 to 8:00 P.M. at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center.  A Celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. at Hosanna Lutheran Church in Mankato.

  Roxie was born on July 10, 1953 to Alvin and Evelyn (Scheffert) Lukes. She graduated from Le Center High School. On September 13th, 1975 she was united in marriage to Curtis Roemhildt at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center.  She worked at E.F. Johnson Radio in Waseca and after starting her family she worked in her home as a daycare provider for many families for 35 years. She enjoyed canning, family, friends, camping, children and being at the lake.

  She is survived by loving husband Curtis, children; Jill (and Gene) Boyd of Le Center and Christopher (and Michelle) Roemhildt of Cleveland, grandchildren; Austin, Kaitlyn, Alexys, Alivya and Chase, her mother Evelyn Lukes of Le Center and sister Debbie (and Kenny) Adams of Le Center.

  Roxie was preceded in death by her father Alvin.
