Beverly Ruth Bartelt

—   Beverly Ruth Bartelt, age 81 of Le Center died Sunday July 29, 2012 at her home in Le Center, surrounded by her family.  Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 1, 2012 from 4 pm to 8 pm at the Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center with American Legion and the VFW Auxiliary service at 5:30 p.m. Funeral Service will be on Thursday, August 2, 2012 at 11 am at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Le Center with visitation 1 hour prior at church. A private family burial will be at Greenwood Union Cemetery.

  Beverly was born on September 24, 1930 in Elysian Township to Oscar and Ruth (Guse) Rosenau. She married Robert Bartelt on May 12, 1951 in St. Peters Lutheran Church in rural Waterville. She was a long time employee of the 1st National Bank of Le Center until her retirement.

  She was an active member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and served on several church committees. After retiring, she volunteered for various organizations and was a member of VFW and American Legion Auxiliaries. She enjoyed cooking, traveling, being with friends and especially with her family.

  Beverly is survived by children; Bruce (and DeLora) Bartelt of Belle Plaine, Patty (and Ted) Kroska of Lino Lakes and Craig (and Diane) Bartelt of Rural St. Peter, brother; David (and Marilyn) Rosenau of North Mankato, grandchildren; Andy, Lori, Erin, Adam, Bridget and Abby and 9 great-grandchildren.

  Beverly is preceded in death by her husband Bob Bartelt, her parents, and sister, Barbara Roemhildt.
