  Gerald "Jerry" H. Yetter, age 73, of North Mankato, died Tuesday, December 25, 2012, in North Mankato.

  Funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 29, 2012, at NORTHVIEW - North Mankato Mortuary 2060 Commerce Drive. Visitation will be one hour before the service at NORTHVIEW. Burial will be in Glenwood Cemetery in Mankato.

  Gerald H. Yetter was born October 31, 1939, to Harry and Dorothy (Wollie) Yetter in Mankato. He graduated from Mankato High School in 1958 and then entered the US Marines. Jerry worked for a short time for United Supply. He then worked for the Chandler Wilbert Vault Co and later the Brown Wilbert Vault Co. from 1959 -  2000 before retiring. Jerry was a member of the American Legion.

  Jerry enjoyed hunting fishing and the outdoors, and also reading.

  He is survived by his three children, Kim (Tim) Jewison of Mankato, Jay Yetter of North Mankato, Kris (Billy) Quick of Panama City, FL; three grandchildren; sister, Darlene Hines of North Mankato; brother, Harlan Yetter of New Orleans, LA; nieces, nephews, and cousins.

  Preceded in death by his parents and infant son.
