A Celebration of Life Service for Julane F. Gripentrog, 77, of North Mankato, Minnesota, formerly of rural Dunnell, Minnesota, will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, January 8, 2013, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Sherburn, Minnesota, with Rev. Steven D. Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Lake Fremont Cemetery in rural Dunnell, Minnesota.
Jesus took Julane's hand on Wednesday morning, January 2, 2013, at her home in Oak Terrace Assisted Living in North Mankato, Minnesota. Visitation will be from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday at the Kramer Family Funeral Home in Sherburn and one hour prior to the services at the Church on Tuesday. She will be greatly missed by her family, son, Rick Gripentrog of Minneapolis, Minnesota; daughter, Rita (Gaylord) Martin of Madison Lake, Minnesota; daughter-in-law, Mary Gripentrog of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; four grandchildren, Christopher Delaney, Brett and Elizabeth Gripentrog and fiance, Matt Sauer and Jessica Martin-Johnson and her husband, Matt; two great-grandsons, Brody Gripentrog and Lukas Johnson; brothers, Donald (Claudia) Jorgensen of Bella Vista, Arkansas, Kenneth (Margaret) Jorgensen of San Antonio, Texas, Frank Jr. (Sue) Jorgensen of rural Dunnell, Gene (Nell) Jorgensen of Bethesda, Maryland, Tom (Kathy) Jorgensen of Chandler, Arizona; sister-in-law Katherine Erickson of North Mankato, MN, nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends.
Julane was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Warren Gripentrog; son, Lon Gripentrog on June 27, 2009; sister, Phyllis Gilbertson; brother, Everett Erickson and other relatives.
