Harriet Hankel

 Harriet Hankel, 87, Janesville, formerly of Mankato, died Monday, January 14, 2013, at the Janesville Nursing Home.  Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, January 18, 2013, at Woodland Hills Funeral Chapel in Mankato with Rev. Gary Titusdahl.    Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Woodland Hills Memorial Park.

  Harriet was born July 16, 1925, to Amel and Cora (Laudert) Hankel.  Harriet was a cashier at the dime store in Mankato and then worked in administration at Mankato High School for many years.

   She is survived by sister-in-law, Jo Hankel and nieces, Nancy (Coby) O'Dowd and Linda (Joe) Span.  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Kenneth; sister, Marion Hankel and 2 infant sisters.
