  Lorraine G. Schraml, age 90, of Madison Lake, died Saturday, January 19, 2013, in the peace and  comfort of her home.

 Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, January 24th at 10:30 A.M. at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake with Father James Russell, Celebrant.  Interment will be in the St. Ann Cemetery, Janesville.

 Visitation will be held Wednesday from 4 to 8 P.M. at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake, and will continue on Thursday morning for one hour prior to services, at church. There will be a 7:30 P.M. parish prayer service Wednesday evening at church.  In lieu of flowers , memorials are preferred to, All Saints Catholic School, Loyola Catholic School, St. Joseph's Indian School, or the School Sisters of Notre Dame.  

  Lorraine was born June 24, 1922, to Adolph and Iverna (Miller) Fasnacht in Madison Lake.  She attended country school and All Saints Catholic School, and graduated from Mankato High School in 1940.  She married Francis A. Schraml on April 29, 1941, at All Saints Catholic Church in Madison Lake.  They lived and worked together on the family farm their entire married life.  Lorraine was an accomplished seamstress known for her ability to adapt any dress pattern to fit any figure.  She later became an avid quilter.  She also enjoyed knitting and crocheting, gardening and canning, reading and word puzzles, bird watching, and traveling.  Lorraine cherished her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and warmly welcomed all who graced her life.  

  She is survived by two sons, Gayle (Sandy) of Wauconda, IL, and Gary of Hastings, MN; two daughters, Marie (Jerry) Groebner of Madison Lake, and Jane (Sister Mary Beth, SSND) of Mankato; 10 grandchildren, Traci, Angela, Jennifer, Nick, Chris, Mike, Rob, Russ, Rick, and Robin; 15 great grandchildren (and one on the way!), Maggie, Claire, Brigid, Nathan, Colin, Ryan, Adelynn, Ellie, Tyler, Jimmy, Jenny, Courtney, Ben, Mylei, and Emma; 5 sisters, Zita Rohlfing, Sally Reintjes, Tilda Schneider, Dorothy Rohlfing, and Lucille (Lyle) Grothe; sister-in-law, June Fasnacht; brother, Joseph (Georgia) Fasnacht; many nieces, nephews, and friends.  

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Francis (1993); infant son, Francis Jr. (1947); her parents; sister, Helen, and brothers, Jerome, Cyril, and Robert.
