Johanna F. Theissen

— Johanna F. Theissen, age 93, of North Mankato died Tuesday, January 22, 2013, at Oak Terrace Assisted Living in North Mankato.

 A Private Funeral Service will be held with burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Mankato. Mankato Mortuary is assisting the family with the arrangements.

 Johanna Fredericka was born October 22, 1919, to Jens and Olive (Daby) Sorensen in Mankato. Growing up she attended and graduated High School in Mankato and later attended Business College.

  On October 22, 1939, she was united in marriage to Troy Theissen. This union was blessed with three children: Karen, James and Troy.

  Johanna was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church.

 Those left to cherish her memory include her children: Kaaren (Bill) Klint of Georgetown, Texas and James (Joann) Theissen of Lake Panasoffkee, Florida; grandchildren: Melissa Klint of Alexandria, Minnesota, and Jim Klint Gardner, Kansas; brother, Peter Sorensen of South Dakota; other extended family and friends.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy L.; son, Troy J.; parents; five brothers; and two sisters.
