Norma Jean Sayler Rudenick

— Mankato resident, Norma Jean Sayler Rudenick, age 84, died Friday, February 15, 2013, at Hillcrest Health Care Center in Mankato.  Memorial services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Friday, February 22, 2013, at Our Savior's Lutheran Church in Mankato.  Visitation will be 1 hour prior to the service at the church.  Interment will be at Pilgrim's Rest Cemetery at a later date.

Woodland Hills Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to Mayo Hospice Program.

  Norma was born August 16, 1928, in Bingham Lake, MN, to Benjamin and Eda (Seide) Barklow.  She worked for A.H. Hermel as bookkeeper for many years. She enjoyed sewing and volunteering at church but most of all loved spending time with her family.  She was a long time member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church.

  She is survived by son, Brian Sayler of Mankato; daughters, Grace Ann (Paul) Brown of Mankato, Jeanette Pasek of Mankato, and Sheila (Roy) Haefner of North Mankato; 7 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sister, Margery Ulman of North Mankato.

  She was preceded in death by her parents; 3 brothers, 4 sisters, and son-in-law, Michael Pasek.

  A special thank you is extended to Mayo Hospice & the staff of Hillcrest Health Care Center.
