Adeline Marie Shold

—   Adeline Marie Shold, age 83 of Morristown, died on Sunday, July 1, 2012 at the Waterville Good Samaritan Center.

  Born in Le Sueur County on March 8, 1929, Adeline was the daughter of George and Ella (Bittrich) Kelm.  Growing up she attended country school.  She married Charles "Dick" Shold on October 17, 1959 at the German Lake Lutheran Church in Le Sueur County.  They farmed for many years in the Albert Lea area and later moved to a small farm south of Morristown.  Adeline was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Morristown.  She enjoyed gardening, baking, caring for her chickens and other farm animals, and flowers.

  Adeline is survived by two siblings, Alice Seibel of Morristown, and Otto Kelm of the Twin Cities area, as well as by many nieces, nephews, and friends.  She was preceded in death by both of her parents, her husband Dick, and two sisters, Inez Lamont and Betty Kelm.

  Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Morristown, with Rev. Eugene Chase officiating.  Visitation will be held for one hour before the service at the church.  Interment will follow at Sakatah Cemetery in Waterville.

  Prosch-Dennis Funeral Home in Waterville is handling the arrangements.
