Ronald LaVerne Sander,  age 71, of Bricelyn, MN died Friday, July 6, 2012, at St. Mary's Hospital in Rochester, MN, surrounded by his family.

 Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 11,

 2012, at 11:00 AM at the Bricelyn Lutheran Church in Bricelyn, MN. Visitation will be held at the Bricelyn Lutheran Church from 4 to 8 PM on Tuesday, July 10, 2012, and 1 hour prior to the service. Pastor Luther Peterson will officiate and burial will be in the Bricelyn Cemetery in Seely Township.

 Bruss-Heitner Funeral Home in Bricelyn is in charge of arrangements.

  Ronald L. Sander was born September 15, 1940, the son of Harry and Edythe (Olson) Sander in New Ulm, MN. He was united in marriage to Glorian D. Bentz on September 7, 1963, in Gibbon, MN.

  Ron graduated from Mankato State with a double major in Economics and Business Administration. Ron was a Bank Examiner for the State of Minnesota and in February 1975 he and his family moved to Bricelyn. He was involved in all aspects of banking, having served as President of the State Bank of Bricelyn.

  Ron is survived by his wife Glorian Sander of Bricelyn, MN; his five children: Michele (Mike) Beyer, Kimberly (Mike) Gormley, Doug (Lisa) Sander, Nicole (Steve) Kapplinger, Kristin (DJ) Bullerman; 13 grandchildren, 1 brother, Gerald Sander, 1 sister Marjorie (Irwin) Flaten.
