Lillia Hawker, 88, Mankato, died Friday, February 22, 2013 at Oaklawn Health Care Center. Funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Donohue Sarff officiating. Visitation will be held 4:00 - 7:00 p.m. Monday, February 25, 2013 at Woodland Hills Funeral Home and one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Woodland Hills Indoor Mausoleum.
Lillia was born May 19, 1924 to Fred and Della (Schlossin) Rudolph in Blue Earth County. She married Lyle Hawker November 26, 1940 in Blue Earth County. She worked at the hospital in housekeeping until illness forced her retirement. In her free time Lillia enjoyed reading, fishing and was a member of Christ the King Church.
She is survived by husband, Lyle Hawker; sons, Ronald (Sharon) Hawker and Darwin (Darlene) Hawker; daughter, Sharon (Barry) Rome; 11 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; sisters in-law, Frieda Westphal and Sally Hawker; and one niece and one nephew.
Lillia is preceded in death by her parents, sister, and brother.
