Gloria DePyper

—   Gloria DePyper, age 62, of Mankato, died on Friday, August 10, 2012 at Mayo Clinic Health System, Mankato.

  A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, August 14 at 11:00 a.m. at Mankato Mortuary with Rev. Phil Schotzko officiating.  Visitation will be on Monday from 4-7 at Mankato Mortuary and will continue one hour prior to the service on Tuesday.  Burial will be at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery in rural Lamberton.

  Gloria was born on January 6, 1950 in Mason City, IA to Hector and Marjorie (Baldwin) DePyper.  Gloria worked at MRCI in Mankato.  She enjoyed playing bingo and cards, going out to movies, and especially going out to eat.  Gloria was a big Elvis fan.  She loved spending time with her family and babysitting her nieces and nephews.  Gloria loved when her family would stop by to visit and bring her pop.  Her favorite television show was Wheel of Fortune.

  She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Marie (Stan) Dubauskas of Claredon Hills, IL, Pat (John) Stiles of Lamberton, Larry (Donna) DePyper of Lynd, MN, Mary (Bill) Frederick of Eufaula, OK, Jeanette (Bob) Edwards of Mankato, David (Deb) DePyper of St. Peter, and Kathy (Jerry) Willaert of Gaylord; and many nieces and nephews.

  She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, LeRoy Serreyn, and infant nephew.
