Brady Paul Hruska 'Diggy'

— Brady Paul Hruska "Diggy", age 17, of Waterville, died on Saturday, October 27, 2012, on Lake Elysian.

 Born on June 11, 1995, in New Prague, Minnesota he was the son of Eric and Tara (Hlavac) Hruska.  Brady was currently a senior at Waterville-Elysian-Morristown High School where he was active with football and baseball but his love was basketball.  Brady enjoyed hanging out with his friends and playing sports.  He also enjoyed golfing, ice fishing, hunting, and playing video games.  He was a member of St. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny.

 He is survived by his parents, Eric and Tara Hruska, and one sister, Briana, all of Waterville, and the beloved family dog, Bella.  He is also survived by maternal grandparents, Pat Hlavac of New Prague and Jim Hlavac and his special friend, Nancy Annis of Faribault; paternal grandparents, Paul Hruska and his special friend, Mary Berg of Kilkenny and Roxy (Tom) Slechta of Waseca; maternal great grandmother, Lillian Hlavac of Montgomery; paternal great grandmother, Marion Ketzeback of Waterville; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.  

 He was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Bill Hlavac, George and Lois Hruska, Francis and Laura Velishek, and Lyle Reid and step great grandfather, Tony Slechta.

 Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 31, 2012, from 4-8 PM at the WEM High School Gym in Waterville and continue on Thursday, one hour before services at the church.

 Funeral services will be held on Thursday, November 1, 2012, at 1:00 PM at St. Canice Catholic Church in Kilkenny.  Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery in Kilkenny.  Prosch-Dennis Funeral Home in Waterville is handling arrangements.  www.dennisfuneralhomes.com

 In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the WEM football, boys basketball, or baseball programs.
